I have had the pleasure of taking this little guys newborn pictures and now I can’t believe he is one.  He was one of my very first newborn sessions and seeing his images put a spark in me and from that moment I knew I had to get into the world of photographing little ones.  They are so innocent and being able to watch them grow through my camera lens, with all the many expressions they develop, is so rewarding.  This cutie has a wonderful big brother who was able to get laugh after laugh…until we brought out the cake.  You always think the cake smash is going to be the best part, but it doesn’t always turn out like you plan.  I rarely do black and white pictures, but I felt it captured the emotion so well.  I hope he will look back on these and wonder one day why he got so upset with the cake!
